Obtaining a Visa for Uzbekistan

All foreign travelers coming to Uzbekistan need to get a visa. Usually, in order to get a Tourist Visa you need to get an invitation letter from the national travel agent licensed by the National Company “Uzbektourism”. Citizens of UK, US, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, France, Japan, Spain and Switzerland may obtain a visa from the Uzbek Embassy without applying for an invitation letter.:
Travelers from the other countries should apply for an invitation letter issued by a local travel agent.

According to the regulations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan for preparing an invitation letter we need the following passport data:
Full name & surname
Gender
Citizenship
Date & place (city & country) of birth
Passport number & dates of validity
Permanent address
Occupation & place of work
The procedure is as follows. As soon as we receive your data we take the request to the MFA of Uzbekistan.
Usually the application is under consideration in the MFA from 7 to 10 office days. Then we get the reference number (the confirmation number) and send a copy of it to you and one to the Uzbek embassy or consulate where it is convenient for you to get your visa. Once you get the copy of the Invitation Letter, please contact the Uzbek Embassy with this copy and get the visa.

$20 per person up to 15 days
$35 per person up to 30 days
VISA FEES PAID to the UZBEK EMBASSY OR CONSULATE:

SINGLE ENTRY VISA:
up to 7 days – $ 40 US
up to 15 days – $ 50 US
up to 30 days – $ 60 US
for each additional entry – $ 10 US

MULTIPLE ENTRY VISA FEE (EXCEPT US CITIZENS):
up to 1 month – $ 60 US (applicable to one month multiple entry tourist visa)

GROUP VISAS \ FOR TOURIST GROUPS OF 10 PERSONS OR MORE:
up to 15 days – $ 15 US per person
up to 30 days – $25 US per person

TRANSIT VISAS FEES: up to 24 hours – $ 20 US
up to 48 hours – $ 25 US
up to 72 hours – $ 30 US
