Tashkent
By Erik Owen. Filed under newsWeather in Tashkent today, June 8th, is quite nice. Sunny, good breeze. Tashkent Malika has 5 new outdoor seating areas (Uzbek tapchans!) with pillows; all are built over the stream. Outside also is the new kitchen with 5 kazans (cast iron cooking areas) and the new gas oven. And we have finished the remodeling of the 1st floor cafe/ lounge; it’s huge! Come any day to enjoy great Uzbek food or the best pizza in town!
In Khiva we’ve opened the desert yurts. Reserve your day quickly as they are the best place to relax in Uzbekistan. You can swim in the fresh water river, fish in the lake, then have the white fish cooked right in front of you by our cooks. The yurts are carpeted, clean and have pillows everywhere. Then walk on the white sand to the lounge and enjoy an authentic Uzbek dancing show under the torches.

Welcome to Malika Hotels website!
By Ravshan Sabirov and Erik Owen. Filed under newsWelcome to Malika Hotels website! On this website we hope to provide as much information as possible about Uzbekistan and the wonderful adventures that people have here. We will regularly post news about our activities and how we see our business evolving. We very much look forward to people’s feedback on the quality of our hotels, tours, and all services in Uzbekistan. Malika Hotels will be expanding into other cities as well as expanding into different products. We hope to open our first solar powered project in 2008. It will be a restaurant between Khiva and Bukhara.
The staff and owners of the Malika Hotels regularly take the exciting trip (by car!) through the whole chain of hotels. Your feedback is the best way for us to make improvements to our hotels and tours. Our business has pretty much built itself from the demand. We have followed what our clients have asked for. And we hope to continue by expanding our business into different products and always keeping the highest quality services at the lowest prices in Central Asia. We look forward to hearing from you and seeing you soon!

Last week we toured Bukhara and were reminded of the great food at Lyabi Haus (the beautiful pool surrounded by cafes). Also we are posting the new original paintings on the walls of the Malika Hotel Bukhara restaurant.
